In her spare time, you can find her reading (a sustainability book) with a cup of coffee or in the workshop (exploring materials) until midnight.
Currently, she a lecturer teaching Design and Sustainability at Rafael Landívar University in Guatemala and she works as a consultant in her own technical/creative studio: Hablemos de Futuros.
INSIGHT
What is your favourite part of the D4C programme?
The diversity of the students as it helps to encounter multiple world views, disciplines and perspectives which enrich the conversations and collaboration processes.
One book or reading recommendation?
Because we need more positive approaches to sustainability: J. Thackara. 2015. How to thrive in the next economy.
What area of design are you most interested in?
Design as a tool and method to explore and foster sustainability, regenerative futures, and social innovation. I love design that pushes the boundaries of what design could be, especially when it is applied in unexpected scenarios.
