Insight

What is your favourite part of the D4C programme?

The teaching content of the project attracted me the most. It exposed me to some new design concepts and design methods such as ‘life companion organism’ and ‘breaching experimentation’.

What area of design are you most interested in?

I think policy planning and democracy design would be the area where I devote my effort to. In the future, design thinking will increasingly need to be applied in the area of policy planning, which is also an effective way to promote social change.

What do you think is the role of design for change?

Inspiration. Solving problems! As the role of design has gradually diminished. If designers can solve problems well, maybe the world wont suck so much! LOL. So I hope design can still stimulate people to reflect on the current situation of the world.
