About Nel

A design researcher by practice, Nel worked in the healthcare and retail sectors prior to joining the Design for Change programme.

A design researcher by practice, Nel sought out Design for Change to push her understanding of design and its application in the world. Nel is interested in thinking speculatively to imagine futures that place equal emphasis on the wellbeing of non-human and human life. When not thinking about design, Nel enjoys biking, baking, and embracing cold Minnesota winters.
