The 2019/2020 cohort recently visited New Lanark, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. New Lanark, a wool milling village founded in the 18th century, provided students with an opportunity to view an evolving yet timeless example of a thoughtfully developed community for both work and life. On the trip, students learned about the village’s roots in Utopian idealism, observed the working dam that powers the village to this day, and explored the surrounding grounds.
